Harnessing National Interests
Through Space
“The criticality of space to our national interests presents an opportunity to advance and grow our civil space industry… Government, Industry and Research must continue to work in concert so that our future as a nation is written not just on Earth, but in the skies above.”
ENRICO PALERMO
HEAD OF THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE AGENCY
16th AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORUM
The space sector in Australia is experiencing unprecedented growth, and new opportunities for our sovereign capabilities to support the expanding global space ecosystem are accelerating.
As the role of space-based technologies becomes increasingly essential across all facets of the global economy, and their centrality to our global future deepens, Australia is at the forefront of new opportunities to drive and shape the success of endeavours that both extend our reach upward and outward and enhance our capacity to sustain life on Earth.
Buoyed by an optimistic outlook for the future of the Australian space industry, the 18th Australian Space Forum will highlight the importance of continued investment in existing and emerging capabilities, and the critical role of space-enabled technologies play in national security, biosecurity, intelligence, disaster recovery, global supply chains and the management of essential infrastructure.
PROGRAM
Two days of innovation, opportunity and inspiration, driving Australia’s future in the global space ecosystem.
Continuing its new two-day, annual format into 2025, the 18th Australian Space Forum provides an outstanding opportunity for Industry, Government and Academia to converge and give flight to ideas and new sources of inspiration that advance space capabilities across shared domestic and international futures.
