Ms Ngiam Le Na was appointed Chief Executive of the National Space Agency
of Singapore on 1 April 2026.
Ms Ngiam brings over 25 years of public service experience to the role, having
held senior appointments including as Deputy Chief Executive at the Defence
Science and Technology Agency and DSO National Laboratories, where she led
the development and delivery of key technological capabilities for Singapore. She
has overseen major acquisition and development programmes, including Earth
Observation satellites that serve national needs in maritime security,
environmental monitoring and disaster relief.
Ms Ngiam serves on the Board of PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency. She
was named in the inaugural ‘Singapore 100 Women in Tech’ list in 2020 and
awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) for her contributions to
technology and the public service.
She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
National University of Singapore.
