Darin Lovett is Chair of the Space Industry Association of Australia and Founder of Max Q Strategy, where he advises government, industry, and research organisations at the intersection of space, defence, and sovereign capability.

With more than three decades of experience across Australia and the United States, Darin has held senior roles in the Royal Australian Air Force, the Pentagon—serving as Chief of Strategy to the US Executive Agent for Space—and Boeing Phantom Works International.

He previously led the $200 million iLAuNCH Trailblazer program, driving national space capability through R&D commercialisation and workforce development, and served as Director of Space for the South Australian Space Industry Centre, shaping the state’s space strategy.

Darin is recognised for bridging strategy and execution—turning complex ambition into deliverable capability—and continues to play a leading role in shaping Australia’s space ecosystem.
