Dr. Luis Zea is the Chief Scientist at Starlab Space and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. He holds a Ph.D. in Bioastronautics and degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering. His career spans academia, industry, and entrepreneurship, with experience in both business development and scientific research. Dr. Zea has worked on 29 spaceflight experiments, from the Space Shuttle to the International Space Station. He has served as a principal investigator for multiple NASA-funded projects, including experiments conducted in low Earth orbit and around the Moon onboard NASA’s Artemis I’s mission.
