Sandy Cameron is an executive with Telstra Digital Infrastructure (TDI), where he is accountable for the end-to-end commercial performance of Telstra’s Australian infrastructure portfolio. In this role, he is focused on transforming Australia’s critical digital infrastructure assets into standardised, scalable products and solutions, while stewarding capital and product investment to deliver sustainable growth and long-term value. Sandy is accountable for applying artificial intelligence to transform infrastructure operations, enabling more predictive, efficient and resilient network performance. Prior to this role, Sandy served as Chief Executive Officer of Quantium Telstra, a joint venture bringing together Telstra’s network and technology capability with Quantium’s data science and AI expertise. During this time, he led the development of data and AI-driven solutions, with a strong focus on areas such as fraud, identity and scam prevention. His work included advancing tools such as Fraud Indicator to help combat scams and protect Australians, as well as contributing to initiatives such as Customer IQ to enhance customer experience through data-led insights. He also supported strategic partnerships, including with Commonwealth Bank, to address the growing impact of scams across Australia. Sandy also acts as an alternate director on Silicon Quantum Compute.
