Zamara Rodríguez is Head of Policy and Workforce at the Space Industry Association of Australia, where she leads initiatives across space policy, workforce development, international engagement and industry capability. She works closely with government, industry, academia and international partners to support the growth of Australia’s space sector and strengthen pathways for collaboration.

Zamara has a legal background and holds a Master of International Law and Diplomacy from the Australian National University, with a focus on space, national security and international cooperation. She is also part of the Space Generation Advisory Council, was nominated for Female Space Leader of the Year at the Australian Space Awards, and was selected as a recipient of the IAF Emerging Space Leaders Grant Programme 2026.

Her work brings together policy, education, industry engagement and strategic partnerships to help build a more connected, resilient and globally engaged Australian space ecosystem.
