WRegSAT – the Workshops on the Regulation of Space Activities and Technologies – is Australia’s dedicated annual research program examining how to evolve the regulation of Australia’s space activities and technologies. Built on a commitment to generational collaboration, WRegSAT brings together researchers, industry, government, and First Nations advisers to participate in a shared process of development. This session presents the public release of the Series I Foundations Paper: a comprehensive, independent assessment of Australia’s space regulatory framework, and a roadmap for future series of WRegSAT – to develop regulatory options to empower Australia’s space innovation.
